My name is Melisa, I am 23 years old and I am a licenced professional tour guide, born, raised and based in Istanbul. I conduct tours in English. My licence covers Marmara, Central Anatolia and Mediterranean regions of Türkiye which means I am able to guide you in the cities of these regions. If you're looking for a very formal, slow and classic tour guide, I'm definitely NOT the one for you. However, if you're looking for an upbeat, energetic and a fun tour guide, well, you found me! I don't do the typical boring tour programs everyone else is doing, it's just not my thing. A few fun facts about me:

- I'm a polyglot, except Turkish and English, I can speak Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Spanish and Norwegian.

- I'm a vegetarian, given the fact how my country lacks nice vegetarian food, I always end up at an Indian restaurant. Of course, if you're a non-veg, I still know where the best food in the city is.

- I'm quite well-versed about South Asian (Desi) culture, history, religions, geography, politics etc.

- I'm a Hufflepuff, got a huge Harry Potter collection as well.

- I proudly quote a lot of memes as if they were historical quotes.

- I love basketball, playing it and watching it, huge Toronto Raptors fan.

- I do bhangra, look it up.
