Terlan Pekhlivan est un guide-conférencier privé local en Azerbaïdjan

My name is Terlan, I am ol 34 years old. I was born in 1990 in Tver, USSR. Currently, I live in Baku.

Historically, my family moved from Dagestan (Akhtynsky District) to the city of Nukha (modern-day Sheki) more than 300 years ago. My mother is from Sheki, and my father was born in the village of Khanov, Akhtynsky District, Republic of Dagestan. This village is located beyond the mountain pass where the city of Sheki is situated. As residents of Russia, my sister and I often traveled to Azerbaijan during our childhood to visit our grandparents who lived in Sheki and the Sheki district.

I spent my entire life in Russia, where I studied law and worked in this field for 12 years. Then I decided to change everything and moved to Dubai in 2020, where I started working as a tour guide. In 2022, I came to Baku, and by fate, I stayed here and continued working as a guide in previously unexplored territories. Now, I have been working as a guide in Azerbaijan for almost 2 years. I have fallen in love with this country, and Azerbaijan has become my home. I have decided to dedicate my conscious life to uncovering the secrets and beauties of Azerbaijan not only for myself but also for our dear guests, with an individual approach to each of them.

I will show guests the most interesting and beautiful places in the city of Baku, starting from the ultra-modern Heydar Aliyev Center to the ancient Old City located in the heart of Azerbaijan's capital. Then, guests can join me in ascending the majestic Caucasus Mountains on cable cars in Tufandag and Shahdag, where there are also various activities for active recreation. We will visit the ancient human settlement located in the desert expanses of Gobustan, where we can also observe mini eruptions of mud volcanoes, the highest concentration of which is found only in Azerbaijan. Upon returning to Baku, we can visit the ancient Fire Temple (Ateshgah), which is over 15 centuries old, and the Burning Mountain (Yanar Dag), which has been a place of annual pilgrimage for Zoroastrians for centuries. Guests will also be able to experience the endless color of Azerbaijani cuisine, our national wines, especially pomegranate wine, and much more. Here and now, you can enjoy the full palette of colors of Azerbaijan. Welcome!
