I was born and raised in Mostar, a city that has been my lifelong home, teacher, and inspiration. Over more than four decades, I have lived through the many transformations of Bosnia and Herzegovina — from my childhood in Yugoslavia, through the turbulent years of the 1990s war, to the rebuilding and renewal that followed.
These experiences shaped not only my perspective but also my deep connection to this place and its people. My love for Mostar — its layered history, diverse cultures, and resilient spirit — has remained a constant.
I founded Sheva Walking Tours to share that love and understanding with visitors from around the world. My tours are immersive, engaging, and personal, offering not only the story of Mostar’s past but also insight into its present — the everyday life, challenges, and humor that define the city today.
