Begin your adventure in the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and wander through the old Medina, discovering Marrakech’s most beloved street foods. Warm up with a bowl of Harira, Morocco’s traditional tomato-based soup often enjoyed during Ramadan, served with dates and the sesame-coated sweet Chebbakia. Taste hot and fluffy Sfenj, Morocco’s version of doughnuts, perfectly paired with refreshing mint tea. Try a local favorite, the rich and savory spleen sandwich, followed by the city’s iconic dish, Tanjia, slow-cooked in clay pots with spices and tender meat. For the adventurous, sample snails simmered in spiced broth, a Marrakchi specialty said to have health benefits. Refresh yourself with a glass of dried fruit juice, packed with natural flavors, before ending on a sweet note with delicate Moroccan pastries, including the famous Kaab el Ghazal (gazelle horns), and buttery Msemmen, Morocco’s signature flatbread.

Along the way, enjoy a short stop at a traditional Berber pharmacy to discover Morocco’s spices and herbs, an essential part of the country’s culinary culture. Learn about their uses in cooking and daily life—no purchase is required.

The tour concludes back at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where music, storytelling, and the city’s unique atmosphere round off your culinary journey.
