4D & 3 N Trekking in Lasta mountains

Your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel. You will begin trekking up to the plateau called Merebarbu.

Take a break at the plateau.

Hike towards Atabkit ridge at 3600 meters, where you will be provided with a freshly prepared lunch.

Trek to our company huts, close to the mountain village, Tigu Kebele (3800 meters), on the Abune Yoseph plateau.

At night, enjoy a bonfire and freshly prepared dinner.

Spend the night either in our traditional tukuls ( farmers' house) or a tent.

Day 2: Gelada Baboons, Tigu Kebele Village

After breakfast, start walking to see the famous Gelada Baboons.

Visit Tigu Kebele village, and  the surrounding Areas just  within spectacular scenery. 

        Over night  :- Tigu kebele village 

Day -3 

Abune Yosef

Break fast will be served in the family Hut, then hike to WEDEBIYE ABO VILLAGE. You will have lunch and long break at Zigit Eco Lodge, then hike to the Twin Zigits and to a very highst peak called RIM GEDEL (4284mtr). Overnight at Zigit Eco Lodge.

Day -4 

After breakfast  trek back to Merebarbu in different  direction. 

         Over night  ;-  Merebarbu 

Day- 5 

 After  breakfast trekking back to Lalibela, through the still working mountain monastery church called ASHETEN MARYAM, home for some monks and nuns, living some sort of hermit life there
