I am a Licensed tour guide by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities since 1994. Specialized in: Biblical geography (e.g., I can take you to the real baptism of Jesus Christ), history, archaeology, Nature Reserves, People, culture and cuisine of Jordan. The point is that, it has been beautiful 28 years of meeting wonderful people (and some are dear friends) when sharing good times together. Additionally, I believe in investing in time and learning as a student at the Arab-UK Open university targeting a PhD in Tourism Marketing for 2024. This reflects positively on my performance as a guide, therefore, there has been events where such viable knowledge provided successful solutions. Thus, I believe in continuous learning in order to develop and provide an added-value service to my customers. The academic knowledge is a plus to my field practice and affiliation with the Friends of Archaeology and Heritage in Jordan for more than 20 years which gave me the competitive advantage (i.e., knowing places and its stories, that ARE NOT on the touristic map e.g., in Petra, I am only lucky to know the place where there are 2000+ years old rock art of hunted animals such as an Ibex). Furthermore, I am flexible with situations and I listen to what my clients try to tell me because this is how I can define their needs and interests. Subsequently it becomes my job to satisfy such needs according to best practice. Finally, I've had my share in visiting wonderful places but ended with great disappointments when my guide failed to do a good job and/or live up to my expectations. That's why I always hire the best guide wherever I travel because I appreciate what it means to be well satisfied by my best guide. Why? because the best guide always makes all the difference in the world and that is what traveling is all about.
