🐾 Destinations & Activities / Highlights.
I will pick you up from your hotel or station at 8:00 AM with your lunch box and drinking water. We will then embark on a 2.5-hour drive to the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro, arriving at Londorossi Gate. Upon arrival, you will register for the hike, which will take just a few minutes. After registration, we will continue our drive through Kilimanjaro’s lush rainforest to Morum Picnic Site, situated at an elevation of 3,407m ASL. From here, we will begin our hike across the stunning Shira Plateau, making our way to Shira 1 Camp at 3,601m ASL. At Shira 1 Camp, you will enjoy your packed lunch while taking in the breathtaking views of the plateau. After lunch, we will hike back to the picnic site, where we will meet our vehicle and drive back to your hotel.

Je viendrai vous chercher à votre hôtel ou à la gare à 8h00 avec votre panier-repas et de l'eau. Nous entreprendrons ensuite un trajet de 2 h 30 en voiture jusqu'au versant ouest du Kilimandjaro, pour arriver à la porte de Londorossi. À votre arrivée, vous vous enregistrerez pour la randonnée, une formalité qui ne prendra que quelques minutes. Après l'enregistrement, nous poursuivrons notre route à travers la luxuriante forêt tropicale du Kilimandjaro jusqu'à l'aire de pique-nique de Morum, située à 3 407 m d'altitude. De là, nous commencerons notre randonnée sur le magnifique plateau de Shira, en direction du camp de Shira 1, à 3 601 m d'altitude. Au camp de Shira 1, vous dégusterez votre pique-nique tout en admirant les vues imprenables sur le plateau. Ti verrò a prendere dal tuo hotel o dalla stazione alle 8:00 del mattino con il tuo pranzo al sacco e acqua da bere. Poi partiremo per un viaggio di circa 2,5 ore verso il lato occidentale del Kilimanjaro, arrivando al Gate di Londorossi. All’arrivo, ti registrerai per l’escursione, che richiederà solo pochi minuti. Dopo la registrazione, proseguiremo il nostro viaggio attraverso la rigogliosa foresta pluviale del Kilimanjaro fino al sito picnic di Morum, situato a 3.407 metri di altitudine. Da qui inizieremo la nostra camminata attraverso l’incantevole Piana di Shira, dirigendoci verso il Campo Shira 1 a 3.601 metri di altitudine. Al Campo Shira 1, potrai gustare il pranzo al sacco ammirando le viste spettacolari sulla piana. Dopo pranzo, torneremo al sito picnic, dove incontreremo il nostro veicolo e torneremo al tuo hotel.

Luego, emprenderemos un viaje de 2,5 horas hacia el lado oeste del Monte Kilimanjaro, llegando a la puerta de Londorossi. Al llegar, te registrarás para la caminata, lo cual tomará solo unos minutos. Tras el registro, continuaremos nuestro recorrido por la exuberante selva tropical del Kilimanjaro hasta el Área de Picnic de Morum, situada a 3.407 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Desde aquí, comenzaremos nuestra caminata por la impresionante Meseta de Shira, dirigiéndonos al Campamento Shira 1 a 3.601 metros de altitud.
