Drive through Gaslamp in downtown,
Drive along the Embarcadero pointing out the Maritime Museum boats
Drive through Balboa Park with a short stop
Drive along 5 freeway passing Mission Bay to Mt Soledad for views and the military memorial on top.
Drive into La Jolla along waterfront to view the seals at Childrens Pool, and wander along the bird rock area.
