DAY 1: The first day of our tour we depart from Pretoria. Our final destination for the day will be Upington. Here we will overnight at Desert Palace.

DAY 2: We depart from Upington and head to Nakop/Ariamsvlei Border Post. Once officially in Namibia, we make our way to the Fish River Canyon. We will spend the night near the Canyon at Canyon Roadhouse.

DAY3: After breakfast, we head to the Fish River Canyon, the biggest Canyon in Africa. Afterwards, we travel via Aus to Luderitz in the Karas region. Along the way, we see the famous wild horses of the Namib Desert. The awe-inspiring beauty of the desert promises to put us at peace as we travel through it. Just over the next sand dune, the coastal town of Luderitz awaits where we will spend the night at Sea-View Zum Sperrgebiet.

DAY4: Today we explore Luderitz with its German architecture and rich history. We make our way back towards Aus, but first take the turn-off to the ghost town, Kolmanskop. Here we take a guided tour through the sand dunes that engulfed an entire town. After the tour, we travel past Helmeringhausen to Hammerstein Lodge for the next 2 nights.

DAY5: Sossusvleiand all its glory are what awaits the day. The Namib-Naukluft NationalParkboast with the oldest dunes in the world. These rustic red dunes tower endlessly through the park and around the pan with its specially adapted vegetation and the occasionaloryx and ever curious ostrich.We find the mysterious fairy circles on the foot of some dunes.

DAY6: Today we follow a route through the Khomas and Erongo regions to the coast. Close to Walvisbay we visit Dune 7 and see the beautiful flamingo colony of the bay. From here we travel on the salt road to Swakopmund where we will spend two nights in Hotel Europa Hof.

DAY7: Afterbreakfast, we have a short trip planned to explore Oasis Goanikontes, the moonlandscape and the living fossil or Welwitschia plant. The mesmerising lichen fields can also be seen along this route. After the trip, you will have the rest of the day to yourself to explore Swakopmund.

DAY8: FromSwakopmund, we make our way north through the Oshikoto region to Etosha National Park. We will spend 2 nights close to the park at Eldorado Guesthouse.

DAY9: Around 09:00 early morning we get our cameras ready for the exciting day ahead. After breakfast, we enter the park through the Okaukuojo gates to explore until lunch time. We will spend some time at the resort where you can enjoy lunch and have the chance to visit the waterhole near the resort.

DAY10: We begin our way back home. We depart from Etosha National Park toward Windhoek. We will spend the night here at Arebbusch and enjoy a sumptuous meal in an authentic German restaurant, Joe’s Beerhouse.

DAY 11: From Windhoek, we travel further South to Keetmanshoop. Here we will spend our last night in Grunau Hotel. Here we can recap on our experiences before bidding farewell to this beautiful country.

DAY12: We leave for Ariamsvlei Border Post and re-enter South Africa. From here we journey to Upington, where we will spend the last night at Desert Palace.
