Kolsai Kaindy lakes
If you want to feel the rich nature of Kazakhstan and try to live in the countryside, and this is always horseback riding and testing of local cuisine, then take this tour. It is full of activities and stunning views.
Duration: 11 hours (7:00 – 18:00). It’s possible to extend this tour with Charyn canyon and do 1 day express tour (in summer period) or 2 days with accommodation in the Saty village (hotel or at comfortable local house).
Route: Almaty – Kolsai lake (300km) – Satty village (overnight) –Kaindy lake (12km) – Almaty
The meeting point: We will pick you up from your Almaty hotel and return you to your hotel after the tour
Kolsay Lake is a natural mirror, reflecting the beauty of the Tien Shan mountains.
Kaindy lake is the calm emerald lake, which is shimmering with mystical light, and the trunks of giant spruce towering above its surface. It is located 2,000m above sea level
7:00 - Departure from the hotel to Kolsay lake.
9:30 – Lunch in Baiseit village’s cafe. Try authentic meal, taste horse milk
13:00 – Arriving Kaindy lake. Walking around, horseback riding, taking pictures;
14:00 - Departure to Kolsay lake.
14:00 -15:00 Arriving Kolsay. Excursion there.
15:00 - Departure to Almaty.
19:00 - Arrival at hotel
The price includes: Transport, lunch in a café, lunch Kazakh village’s home, bottled water, entrance fees to eco-park, English speaking guide.
Two days tour’s price includes accommodation in guesthouse.
