As a nation of multi-ethnicity, evenly and uniquely distributed throughout the country, Ethiopia is home to around 84 ethnic groups.

Most of these ethnic groups live in the southern part of the country. Due to its lowest altitude and having the fact that it is part of the Great Rift Valley, the Southern Omo Valley is home to more than a dozen tribes leading a unique lifestyle.

Settled by the banks of the Omo and Kaske rivers, these tribes are used to leading a nomadic kind of lifestyle, which is very well described as unique and culturally rich. There are so many traditional and ritual practices enough to attract a visitors attention to its amaze.
