09:30 AM – Birkat Al Mouz Ruins (Stop: 2 hours)

Explore the abandoned village of Birkat Al Mouz, with its traditional mud-brick houses at the foot of Jebel Akhdar. Walk through the ruins and date plantations while enjoying the mountain backdrop.

11:30 AM – Falaj Irrigation System (Stop: 45 minutes)

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Al Falaj irrigation system, an ancient water management method still in use today. Learn how it sustained agriculture in Oman for centuries.

12:30 PM – Birkat Al Mouz (second stop: 30 minutes)

Enjoy a relaxed walk through the lush palm groves of Birkat Al Mouz, nourished by the falaj, and take in the tranquility of the oasis.

Continue your journey up to Jebel Akhdar (The Green Mountain), famous for its terraced farms, pomegranate and rose plantations, and cool mountain climate. Stop at viewpoints for breathtaking panoramas and explore the villages perched along the terraces.

04:30 PM – Al Suwjara Village

Drive to the remote Al Suwjara Village, located on the mountainside. Explore the stone houses, narrow alleys, and traditional farming terraces that reflect authentic Omani rural life.

05:30 PM – Scenic Drive Back to Muscat

Enjoy the mountain scenery on your return journey with photo stops along the way.

07:00 PM – Drop-off in Muscat
