Baruntse Expedition Overview
The Baruntse Expedition offers you the chance to experience some of the most beautiful moments in the mountainous region of Nepal. Baruntse measures 7,126m (7.126km) and lies in eastern Nepal. It is one of the two peaks of the Khumbu range and is surrounded by renowned peaks like Mt.Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, etc. This mountain has glaciers on its three slides. The Imja glacier is in the northwest, the Barun glacier is in the east, and the Hunku glacier is in the south.
Baruntse Expedition is refreshing as well as an adventurous trip. The climbers get to witness the massive structure of the mountain. They also get a chance to be closer to the unaltered beauty of nature. The snows shining under the sunlight are other eye-pleasing views. Day 1: Arriving at a hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2: Briefing and preparation for the expedition
Day 3: Flying to Lukla and trekking to Chutanga
Day 4: Trekking through Zatrawa La pass to reach Tulikharka
Day 5: Trekking to Kothe
Day 7: Trekking to Khare
Day 6: Trekking to Thangnak
Day 8: Rest day at Khare to adjust with high altitude and low temperature
Day 9: Trekking to Khamedingma, camp will be set
Day 10: Trekking to Seto pokhari, camp will be set
Day 11: Trekking to Baruntse Basecamp
Day 12-27: Climbing Baruntse and returning back to the camp
Day 28: Trekking back to Khamedingma, camp will be set
Day 29: Trekking back to Thangnak
Day 30: Trekking back to Chatrabu
Day 31: Trekking to Lukla
Day 32: Flying back to Kathmandu
Day 33: Exploring Kathmandu
Day 34: Returning back home
