Can-Umantad Falls is the highest and one of the most impressive waterfalls in Bohol. It is located in the non-touristy part of Bohol, far from the main resort of Alona Beach and takes 4 hours to reach. But it is definitely worth a visit.
It is a very high and picturesque waterfall located in the wilderness among forests and rice fields. At its foot there is a natural pool for swimming and jumping in the water. A little further down the river there are several more secluded pools. Around the waterfall are terraced rice fields and this is one of the few places in Bohol where you can see terraced rice fields like in Indonesia or Vietnam, at least I haven't seen them anywhere else on the island. These paddies are also a landmark and are called Cadapdapan Rice Terraces.
On the way back, we will stop for a swim at the Cabagnow Cave Pool, located in the Andean region of Bohol Island in the Philippines. It is one of the few limestone caves in the Andes, similar to the cenotes found in Mexico.
Cabagnow Cave Pool was formed when the limestone bedrock dissolved and collapsed due to water erosion. The water in the limestone cave is a mixture of fresh water from the mountains and salt water from the ocean.

Individual transfer by comfortable air-conditioned minivan (depending on the number of participants in the group may be replaced by a passenger car) to the waterfall.
On the way we stop at the local market and buy charcoal, food and drinks for the picnic (to be paid by you separately).
During the picnic at the Kanumantad waterfall we will enjoy the breathtaking view of the waterfall and the surrounding nature. The opportunity to relax by the pool and swim in the cool water while enjoying the natural beauty around will create an amazing atmosphere. The rice terraces of Kadapdapan will add to the impression of incredible harmony with nature.

Cabagnow Cave is a cave pool located in Anda, Bohol. It holds the record as the deepest and largest of the five other cave pools found in this southeastern part of the province. The deepest parts of the cave basin are about 20-25 feet, while the shallow parts can be about 12 feet.
Anda is mostly covered by limestone that has accumulated over millions of years. Like many parts of Bohol, Anda has several caves formed by seawater filtering through the soft limestone rocks that grow in the area. Because of the soft and porous nature of the limestone, water from the mountains seeps into the caves before flowing into the sea. This makes Cabagnov Cave similar to the cenotes of Central America, which are natural pits or sinkholes connected to the sea.

Итак, это очень высокий и живописный водопад, расположен в диких местах среди лесов и рисовых полей. У его подножия находится естественный бассейн для купания и прыжков в воду. Немного ниже по течению реки есть еще несколько более уединенных бассейнов. Вокруг водопада раскинулись рисовые поля в виде террас, и это одно из немногих мест на Бохоле, где можно увидеть рисовые террасы подобные тем, что есть в Индонезии или Вьетнаме, по крайней мере мне они больше нигде на острове не встречались. Эти рисовые поля также являются достопримечательностью, и называются Cadapdapan Rice Terraces.
На обратном пути мы ненадолго заедем искупаться в пещерный бассейн Cabagnow Cave Pool, который находится в Анде на острове Бохол на Филиппинах. Это одна из немногих известняковых пещер в районе Анды, похожая на сеноты, найденные в Мексике.
Cabagnow Cave Pool образовался, когда известняковая коренная порода растворилась и обрушилась под воздействием водной эрозии. Вода в известняковой пещере представляет собой смесь пресной воды с гор и соленой воды из океана.
