Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu
After a warm welcome from the Jossec Safaris team, we begin the adventure from Nairobi, heading to Samburu National Reserve in our comfortable 4x4 jeep. You'll enjoy a scenic drive, reaching your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you might spot the “Samburu Special Five”—Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and the beisa oryx. Dinner and overnight at your Samburu lodge.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
Spend the entire day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Samburu. You’ll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of lions, elephants, leopards, and crocodiles basking along the riverbanks. Optionally, you can take a guided nature walk to learn more about the park's ecosystem. Meals and accommodation will be at the lodge, with breathtaking views of the landscape.
Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, we depart for Sweet Waters (Ol Pejeta Conservancy), famed for its rhino sanctuary and chimpanzee rescue center. You'll have a chance to visit these conservation efforts and learn about the wildlife protection projects. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive, with the possibility of seeing the "Big Five" and other species. Stay overnight at a comfortable lodge, soaking in the serenity of the conservancy.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Nairobi
Your final day includes a morning game drive before heading back to Nairobi. The Jossec Safaris team will see you off, ensuring your experience was nothing short of magical.
