Cost 200 EUR for tour/excursion
Capacity Group of more than 10 people
Duration 2 hours

At the scheduled time we will begin our evening tour of Catania from the central Piazza Vincenzo Bellini, where we will contemplate the illumination of the emblematic Teatro Massimo. Did you know that many conductors and performers such as Pavarotti or Maria Callas have defined it as 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝?

Walking through the streets less traveled by tourists, we will enter 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, a neighborhood whose long and troubled history has been relaunched by a collective of artists through 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲𝐬.

Afterwards, we will take 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭, a real open-air museum, since it boasts 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬, included among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

During the walk, we will contemplate the Roman Amphitheater and, to conclude, we will reach the Ursino Castle, one of the undisputed symbols of the city and one of the few monuments in the city to resist the devastating earthquake of 1693.

Here, we will talk also about Mount Etna, its eruptions and its connection with Catania.

After a walk of about two hours, we will say goodbye in one of the most alive areas of night life in Catania: the fish market area, which does not lose even a bit of its great liveliness even in the evening.

It includes:

- Piazza Teatro;

- San Berillo district;

- Anfiteatro romano;

- Via Crociferi;

- Teatro romano;

- Castello Ursino;

- Streets of night life;

- Fish Market
