Full-Day Gobustan & Absheron Tour

Morning: Bibi-Heybat & Gobustan

9:00 AM – Pick-up from Hotel & Drive to Bibi-Heybat Mosque

• Will meet you at your hotel to begin the tour.

9:15 AM – Bibi-Heybat Mosque

• Visit the Bibi-Heybat Mosque, one of Azerbaijan’s most significant religious sites.

• Admire its beautiful Islamic architecture and learn about its history, including its reconstruction after being destroyed during the Soviet era.

• Enjoy panoramic views of the Caspian Sea.

10:00 AM – Gobustan Rock Art Museum

• Continue to Gobustan Museum to explore exhibits on prehistoric rock carvings and ancient human settlements.

10:30 AM – Gobustan Petroglyphs

• Visit Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 6,000 rock carvings dating back 5,000–40,000 years.

11:30 AM – Mud Volcanoes

• Drive to Gobustan’s Mud Volcanoes, one of the largest mud volcano zones in the world.

12:30 PM – Return to Baku & Lunch

Afternoon: Absheron Peninsula

2:00 PM – Ateshgah Fire Temple

• Visit Ateshgah Fire Temple, a historical religious site used by Zoroastrians and Hindus.

• Learn about the natural gas fires that have been burning here for centuries.

3:00 PM – Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain)

• Experience Yanar Dag, a natural gas fire that has been burning continuously for hundreds of years.

4:00 PM – Return to Baku
