The City Walls Experience

Built between the 13th and 17th centuries, the walls stretch nearly 2 kilometers around the Old Town. Walking along them is one of the most spectacular experiences in the Mediterranean.

From above, you’ll enjoy:

Panoramic views of terracotta rooftops and church domes

Stunning vistas of the Adriatic Sea

Close views of the defensive towers and fortresses

Insight into medieval military architecture and strategy

A unique perspective of Fort Lovrijenac, the impressive fortress guarding the western approach

As we walk, I explain how Dubrovnik engineered one of the most advanced fortification systems of its time — a structure so strong that the city was never conquered by force.

The pace is steady but comfortable, with stops for storytelling, photos, and short breaks. The entire experience lasts approximately 2 hours, making it perfect for travelers who want both historical depth and unforgettable views within a well-structured timeframe.

Important Notes

Entrance tickets to the City Walls are purchased separately (I recommend the Du Pass when available).

Comfortable shoes and water are recommended, especially during warmer months.

This tour combines culture, history, architecture, and spectacular scenery — offering the most complete introduction to Dubrovnik in just two hours.
