9-Day Zanzibar Island & Northern Tanzania Wildlife
During this 9-day safari and beach holiday, you will enjoy the best that Tanzania has to offer. You'll visit Tarangire National Park well known for its elephant families and iconic baobab trees. You'll also visit Ngorongoro Crater and the majestic Serengeti National Park, a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in Tanzania to see the Big Five. After your safari, you will fly to Zanzibar where warm turquoise waters and the white sand beaches upon the Indian Ocean await.
DAY 1 : ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Our tour guide driver will greet and pick you up from Arusha Airport with a picnic lunch box, then provide you with a short brief/description of the tour. You will transfer to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Later, you will transfer for your hotel dinner and overnight stay at Hhando coffee Lodge.
Tarangire National Park it’s very famous for its elephant population. Here you will have a unique experience of seeing nature combined with the original way of life of Masaai. Tarangire offers unparalleled game viewing, and during the dry season, elephants abound.

DAY 2 - 4 : CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you'll depart for the most famous national park in the world. The drive itself, although long, is spectacular.
This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains."
It is the home of the Great Migration where 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes cross annually. As for big cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
Rise and shine! It’s an early departure for you today to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This morning's destination is the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the seven wonders of Africa, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once you reach the crater rim, you will descend the steep track into the 600 m deep caldera to see a range of animals, grasslands, birds, and a lake.
The massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five to spotted hyenas and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area.
After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will head to your hotel in Mto Wa Mbu where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake.
It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.
The park is known for its diverse landscapes, not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. After lunch, you will head back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the late afternoon and take your flight to Zanzibar.

DAY 7: ZANZIBAR ISLAND RELAXATION
During these days, you will spend time on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, enjoying its relaxed atmosphere and scenic surroundings. This is your opportunity to unwind after the safari, take in the stunning beaches, admire the turquoise waters, and immerse yourself in the island’s culture and history at your own pace. These days offer a leisurely experience, giving you time to relax, reflect on your safari, and fully appreciate the unique charm and beauty of Zanzibar.

DAY 8: BEACH RELAXATION
Zanzibar beach time offers a peaceful escape with white sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, and a relaxed island atmosphere. Guests can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, ocean views, and leisure time at the beach or resort, making it an ideal way to unwind after the safari adventure.

DAY 9 : ZANZIBAR ISLAND
After breakfast, enjoy some final moments on Zanzibar’s beautiful beach. Take a leisurely walk along the shore, swim in the turquoise waters, or simply relax under the sun and savor the island atmosphere. Later, check out of your resort and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight, carrying wonderful memories of your safari adventures and your relaxing Zanzibar escape.
