I decided I really didn’t want a group tour of the main Cairo attractions, so we found Emad, and I can honestly say best decision of the short time we had in the city. Emad tailor made the tour to suit us, we did adapt it slightly to include the Grand Egyptian Museum rather than Coptic Cairo. No problem for Emad. He is so knowledgeable but pitches the tour perfectly, checking whether you want time yourself or a coffee. There’s no pressure, no hurry. Emad took us round museums making sure we saw all the important artefacts in an order that made sense and so we missed the crowds. I was able to spend time with virtually no one else in the room looking at the most important pieces. Can’t recommend Emad highly enough, my advice…don’t do a group tour get a tailor made one where you can ask as many questions as you like and hear the answers.
