I Priest Wondale Demissie, was born and raised in Lalibela and serve in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church according to its laws and regulations priest of Lalibela churches. I have work experience in various governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as extensive involvement in various social issues, making a significant contribution to the local community. With my experience and educational background, having graduated with a Master's degree in Heritage and Cultural Management, I am a private tour guide with extensive experience in organizing package tours to historical sites in Ethiopia, including Gondar, Axum, the monasteries of Lake Tana, and historical sites in Tigray. I promote the culture and traditions of the community by showcasing the historical sites found in Ethiopia and engage in community-based tourism development. I have over 14 years of experience in the tourism industry in Lalibela and its surroundings, guiding visitors to the magnificent rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, ancient and historical sites around Lalibela, and the breathtaking landscapes and nature. I also organize and guide spiritual journeys for religious pilgrims and showcase the spiritual and public festivals celebrated in and around Lalibela.
