Today we are going to take a very exiting route leading us to one of the most beautiful places in Oman - Wadi Shab.

Wadi Shab - meaning gorge between the cliffs - is just that. It is only accessible on foot, the path winds its way up the wadi past caves, plantations, cliffs and deep pools with sceneray changing every step. After about an hour's walk, swim under water for a couple of meters at the narrow crevice and you'll emerge into a secret cavern. We are not going to miss the swimming in a clear water's deep pools today.

We then drive to Sur to visit Dhow building yard, Light house and Corniche.

On the way back to Muscat there is a stop at Qalhat ancient city and Sink Hole, a natural depression or hole in the Earth's surface caused by karst processes — for example, the chemical dissolution of carbonate rocks or suffusion processes in sandstone.
