The Shiva Valley - a Virtual Tour
Central Java area has a quite long history. In 6th century, this area was the centre of civilization of both Hindu and Buddhist community. The area was ruled by two great dinasties: Sanjaya the Hindu dinasty and Syailendra, the Buddhist dinasty.
In this virtual tour, we will visit some of the temples in the low land of southern part of the central Java. These temples are the monument of the greatest dynasty at their time.
Virtual visit will be made at Sewu Temple, Plaosan Temple, Sambisari Temple, then to the top of the hill for Ijo Temple.
While you’re at home, I’ll be in my place, located in the city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia
