The ruins date back to 11 BC and later in 7AD, it was demolished by earthquakes and Arrab raids. We shall have a swim break if it is not winter on the beautiful golden sandy Mediterranean beach otherwise more time will be spent in the walled city of the Medieval town of Famagusta. Who built St. Nicholas Cathedral? What did the Ottomans do when they took over Famagusta from the Venetians? You will learn all about the history while you get to take photos of this beautiful Medieval city. The last stop will be at Varosha.
