This is the oldest route Compare to other routes.Marangu route ;Marangu gate is the park headquarters.the route is well maintained with nice trail.This is the only huts route.Sleep in huts with big mattresses ;big dining house and great toilets.

DAY 0:

Pick up at Kilimanjaro airport and drive to stella Maris lodge in moshi town 30_ 40 minutes.This lodge is before Moshi town has the parfect view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

enjoy your lovely stay in this lodge with Comfortable beds and the HOT SHOWER.Overnight based on bed and breakfast

DAY 1.

Morning after breakfast with picnic and drinking water drive to marangu park gate one hour.After check in start walking to Mandara hut.

Walking under the shades of heavy rain forest.the walk takes 4 hr.

dinner and overnight at mandara hut 2720m.Based on full board

DAY 2.

Morning after breakfast with picnic walk to horombo hut .Nice day walk on the heather and moorland zone you will get the perfect view of KIBO &MAWENZI; peaks the walk takes 5_6 hrs dinner and overnight at Horombo hut 3720m.based on full board basis.

DAY 3.

Acclimatization day.After late breakfast ; enjoy 2hrs walk up to zebra rock see the great view of the mountain on the view point of Zebra rock

return to the hut with different route .Get hot lunch at the hut;After lunch relax at the Hut

dinner and overnight at Horombo hut 3720m.Based on full board basis.

DAY 4.

Earl morning after breakfast with picnic; walk to Kibo hut through alpine desert in saddle area it takes you 4_ 5 hours.Get picnic lunch at saddle area and proceed with the walk slowly to the Hut.Dinner and over night at Kibo hut

Dinner and overnight will be done at kibo Hut 4720m.

DAY 5.

MID Night after refreshing tea with cookies; with your drinking water start walking for summit.Walking with only guides .Porters and Chef will wait for you at the KIBO hut.

walking slowly up to Gilmans point 5685;m.

for about 5895m for about 5_6 hrs relax for few minutes at Gilmans point; continue walking to uhuru peak 5895m take pictures for about 20 minutes.

descend to horombo hut via kibo hut about 3 hrs get breakfast then continue to horombo for other 3 hrs dinner & overnight at horombo hut 3720m. full board.

DAY 6:

Morning after b/ fast walk to marangu park gate 5_6 hrs ; hou will get hot lunch say goodbye with other porters meet van and transifer to moshi one hour; over night at Stella maris lodge.
