Klaipeda - Cold War Museum / Nuclear Sillo

Language English
Cost 150 EUR for tour/excursion
Capacity Group of up to 4 people
Duration 5 hours

Cold War Museum is located in the former Soviet Union`s complex of ballistic missile silo launch. Since 1963 up to 1978, there had been deployed four medium- range ballistic missiles SS-4, armed with 2- megaton power thermonuclear warheads. These missiles, together with the nearby terrestrial platforms of analogue missile launching, had created a common Soviet nuclear armament group in Lithuania, which was able to destroy all the Europe.

A private trip to the museum (1,30h drive from Klaipeda) will only show the countryside of the Lithuania but reveal the key area where the end of the world might have begun. We will not only visit the museum - but will able to go around the perimeter of the whole military complex - which is usually dismissed when going with a big group

The tour includes guiding service - transportation with a comfortable 5 seat car (2018 made)

If we will have an energy once back to Klaipeda we can also go for a tour at the old town 1,5h (this will be as a free addition to the tour

Pick up and the tickets to the museum included in the price
