Esyk Lake (aka Issyk in Russian) – one of the 45 moraine lakes of the Ile-Alatau mountains. Lake and the surrounding area are known as the cradle for Sac and Skiff tribes. The uniqueness of the lake is in its color, hence depending on the climate and season, it changes from light blue to emerald.

At a height of 1760 meters, you can witness all 4 seasons in one day. The Esyk Lake climate is as unpredictable as the mood of a child.

Connecting your tour to Ostrich farm located at the foothills of Esyk Lake, you will definitely be overwhelmed to the deep of your heart.

Itinerary

10:30 am Start

10:30-12:00 – Proceed to Esyk Lake, drive through 120 years old cities and villages, have a sight of a local Christian orthodox church, witness the beautiful terrains of the Ile-Alatau mountains ranges to the east, and enjoy both sides of the road with the beautiful pine, elm, oak, and karagach trees.

12:00­­-12:25 – A light walk by asphalt road (2 kilometers) to the lake

12:25-14:00 – Tracking around the lake and maybe be lucky to see some wild habitats of the fauna like cormorants and geese

14:00-14:25 – Walk back to the car with mesmerizing memories of the emerald lake

14:25-16:30 – Arrive at Ostrich farm for lunch and follow it up with roaming around the farm

16:30 – 18:00 – Trip back to the hotel with ravishing memories

Note: Tour duration is 7,5 hours. The road is in perfect condition.

Recommended: Please have the original passport and light-tracking shoes. If there are kids, do not forget to grab some snacks for them. No network coverage after the toll tax zone, which is one hour after the start of the trip. Wear according to the season and let’s Enjoy our tip together
