3 Days From Marrakech To The Desert

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am, departure to the city of Ouarzazate. After the Tichka pass, you will leave the main road and take a secondary road towards the Kasbah of Telouet, which belonged to the Pacha Glaoui family. From there, continue to the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This essentially collective housing complex is located in defensive walls reinforced with corner towers and perforated with a chicane door.

After lunch in Ouarzazate we continue our trip to the Dades Valley. We will cross the palm grove of Skoura and the path of the thousand kasbahs. We will arrive at the Dades gorges, dinner and accommodation with the locals.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, head to the Todra Gorge, the highest in Morocco. you enjoy a walk through the gorges. After lunch, departure to the dunes of Merzouga, which will be the starting point of a camel ride through the Sahara to Erg Chebbi. (the dunes are 150 m high).

you admire the magical sunset. You will spend this night in the bivouac under the stars after a traditional dinner around the fire

Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After the magnificent sunrise and breakfast and return by camel to explore the magnificent landscapes of the Sahara. it’s time to go back to Marrakech. We will visit the city of Rissani and the Berber village of Alnif, then we will continue to Marrakech via Ouarzazate
