- Greenmarket Square one of the oldest market places in Cape Town where fruits and vegetables were traded on the market
- *The old Town house* the old police station,fire station in the center of Cape Town...where the town bells once rang for Town meetings taking place with the red shield and the three golden circles inside representing the symbol of the city of Cape Town. If one has to take out a GPS you will find this building is in the direct center of Cape Town and where measurements are taking to calculate the distance from Cape Town
- *The Central Methodist Church* built in *1878-1879* is the *second oldest* building facing the Greenmarket Square.
- *Charles Freeman built in the 1800s* in a Gothic Revival Style with the 3 main rocks in the *Cape Peninsular Cape Granite,Cape Limestone,Cape Shale the church*
- *The buildings around the Greenmarket Square* are *Art Deco* buildings built between *1920-1930* with the *inspiration* coming from *Paris* after the Art Deco revival of *1925*
- *The newspaper house* was use to be the printing house for the *Cape Times* and the *Cape Argus* but today since *2012* is the *Food Lovers* Market the old machinery they used for the printing of the newspapers can still be found inside the building
- *St George’s Mall* (the jewelry route of the Cape) named after the St George’s Cathedral where African crafts and jewelry stores can be found today was pedestrians in *1992* and leads down to the train station used to be a street with 2 way traffic
