Explore the highlights of the Bay of Kotor on a guided tour. Visit the UNESCO-protected town of Kotor, the sunniest town in the bay, Perast, and the artificial island of Our Lady of the Rock. Begin your tour in Herceg Novi. I will pick you up in front of your hotel.

Travel by car to Kotor, a town from the 6th century A.D. under the protection of UNESCO. In front of the old town, your guide will tell you a short history of it and then you'll enter the Marine gates, the main ones of three gates of Kotor.

There are 9 squares of the town, go around and finish the sightseeing here at the largest one, the Square of Arms. Then, go to Perast, the sunniest town in the bay, with two picturesque islands ahead of it.

Perast was a simple fishermen's village from the 13th century, which has flourished at the end of the 17th century, thanks to the maritime trade. Visit one of those two islands, the artificially made Our Lady of the Rock.

The local guide will tell you the real story about it and the love story which became a legend. In the church's museum, see some masterpieces of the culture of the local community, including a famous embroidery from the 19th century.

Return to the mainland and have lunch in an excellent fish restaurant. After lunch, go back to Herceg Novi.
