Itinerary:

1. Hotel Pick-up:

In the morning, I will pick you up from your hotel or any other pre-arranged location with a professional drivr,

2. Drive to Cuandixia Ancient Village (Approx. 2-2.5 hours):

The drive from downtown Beijing to Cuandixia Ancient Village takes roughly two to two and a half hours, depending on traffic.

We will drive through a scenic valley, flanked by beautiful mountains with a river running alongside the road. You will be treated to stunning natural landscapes and a profound sense of tranquility throughout the journey.

3. Visit Cuandixia Ancient Village (Approx. 3 hours)

Chuandixia Village, an old hill village and one of the best-preserved in all of China, is situated on an ancient post road in a peaceful valley. It offers a snapshot of history, with its Ming-era architecture preserved virtually unchanged. Walking through the village, one gets the feeling of being transported back 500 years.

The layout of the village is truly amazing. The buildings were constructed

entirely from locally sourced, natural materials, and many remain structurally

sound to this day. You will have the chance to visit a wealthy household‘s

courtyard complex, which typically includes the living quarters, bedrooms, and

storerooms. This offers a genuine sense of the rural lifestyle in ancient China.

We’ll take a relaxing hike in the mountains opposite the village. From

the highest point on the trail, you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the

village and the beautiful mountainous landscape surrounding it.

Our journey will also include stops at two other villages: Double Stone Village

and Baiyu Village. Each boasts its own distinct character. By the end of the

tour, you will have a vivid understanding of ancient rural Chinese life.

Once lunch is finished, the driver and I will take you back. We can drop you off at your hotel or at any other pre-arranged location.
