Your journey begins with a warm welcome from your guide, who will pick you up from your hotel, residence, or airport. After a short briefing, enjoy an optional Kigali city tour, including highlights like the Genocide Memorial, local markets, and the Presidential Palace.

You will then travel to Nyungwe through Rwandan stunning “Land of a Thousand Hills,” with a cultural stop in Butare at the National Museum, and possibly the King Palace in Nyanza.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking, Canopy Walk and Return to Kigali

Start early for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. After a briefing from park rangers, head into Nyungwe Forest as it comes alive with birds, primates, and forest sounds.

Tracking chimpanzees is an exciting adventure, guided by their calls through the forest. Once located, you’ll spend one magical hour observing them feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. Then after you will experience the thrilling canopy walk, suspended above the rainforest, offering breathtaking views and a chance to spot wildlife from above.

After the trek, return to Kigali, ending your journey with incredible memories of Rwanda wildlife and landscapes.
