The Krka River rises at the foot of the Dinaric Alps and, over its 74 km course, becomes a beautiful natural and tourist resource in the Dalmatian region. It flows into the Adriatic Sea in the Šibenik Bay.

The river is adorned with beautiful waterfalls that often cascade along its course, and mobile tourists are allowed to access them. Tourist sightseeing usually begins in the town of Skradin, from where tourist boats sail towards Skradinski buk. The water flow is used to generate electricity, while the river remains a water resource for the county. You can also visit the mausoleum dedicated to engineer Nikola Tesla. The islet of Visovac is the cradle of Christianity and is definitely worth visiting. Roški slap is a natural attraction for visitors, with local restaurants offering traditional gastronomic offerings. It is possible to visit the Orthodox Monastery of Krka.
