Apartheid Museum Johannesburg & Soweto Tour:

Be collected from your hotel where we will firstly proceed to the Houghton residence of our great farther Nelson Mandela. You will also be driven around the area to see the exquisite houses and up Manro drive the lookout point where we can gaze over the whole of the northern side of Johannesburg. The tour then by passes St John’s school and onto Hillbrow, Doornfontein and down town city. Whilst in the City centre you are taken to the famous Carlton Centre where we go to the 50 level “The Top of Africa” which gives you a 360 degree view of the whole of Johannesburg. We then head off to the famous Apartheid Museum where you will spend a couple of hours witnessing the tragic past of the apartheid era. Once finished here we drive you past Soccer City where the opening and closing soccer games were held during the 2010 world cup. A short distance from there we enter Soweto for a tour around areas ranging from High class to the absolute dredges where people live in what is suppose to be shacks. Hear you will get the opportunity to be guided on foot through one of the oldest squatter camps in Soweto called Kliptown to witness just how some people are forced to live and survive. You will also be taken to the famous Vilakazi street where we will have lunch at a local shabeen you realize just how special South Africans are.

Apartheid Museum.
Lunch at a Shabeen in Soweto.
Cooler box with ice cold water.
Pictures will be taken during the tour and put into a drop box or downloaded onto a laptop for you.
