Start with Nara, a journey to the ancient capital of Nara, where you will encounter Japan’s largest Buddha statue at Todai-ji Temple and stroll through Nara Park, home to hundreds of friendly, free-roaming deer—symbols of the city’s spiritual heritage.

Next, In Kyoto, wander through the tranquil pathways of the renowned Kinkaku-ji temple, marvel at the intricate architecture of the Fushimi Inari Shrine and finally wander down Gion district, the charming heart of Kyoto’s historic geisha district.

Itinerary (Customizable):

Tour itinerary is planned based on hiring a car/ van for 9 hours (payment cash to the driver on tour day, up to 5 passengers: ¥125, 000, Up to 7 passengers: ¥145, 000, if more than 7 please let me know in advance) to cover the top sightseeing spots of Nara and Arashiyama and long enough to go around the cultural and historic places too. Itinerary is shown here, but can be customized.

08:30 Meeting at Tokyo Station (Gin-no-Suzu Square -Silver Bell Square-, the most well-known meeting place in Tokyo Station), help you to buy the bullet train tickets and heading to Kyoto using bullet train (Shinkansen)

11:00 Pick up at Kyoto station and move to Nara

12:30 Nara deer’s park

13:00 Todaiji temple

13:30 Back to Kyoto/ Lunch

15:15 Kinkakoji temple

16:30 Fushimi Inari shrine

17:30 Gion District

18:30 Back to Kyoto station, and take bullet train to Tokyo

• Transportation fee (from Tokyo to Kyoto and back): You pay your own bullet train tickets.

If you feel that your experience was exceptional, tipping is a lovely way to show your appreciation for the service provided.

Meeting location

• I can meet you at 08:30 am in Tokyo Station, Gin-no-Suzu Square -Silver Bell Square-, the most well-known meeting place in Tokyo Station.

• I can meet you at Kyoto Station any time you want, but prefers early time up until 10 am.

• Pick up does not mean transportation costs are included in the tour price. Please check the tour extra costs details for more.

• The guide can meet you at your hotel in Tokyo for extra fee of ¥10,000

• You can request a different meeting location (for example, your hotel) during the checkout process.
