Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Transfer to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.

Meet your trekking guide for a briefing and equipment check.

Rest and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Machame Gate (1,800m/5,905ft) to Machame Camp (3,000m/9,840ft)

After breakfast, drive to the Machame Gate.

Register with the Kilimanjaro National Park authorities.

Begin the trek through lush rainforest.

Hike for about 5-7 hours to reach Machame Camp.

Dinner and overnight at Machame Camp.

Day 3: Machame Camp (3,000m/9,840ft) to Shira Camp (3,840m/12,600ft)

Leave the camp after breakfast.

Ascend through the heather and moorland zone.

Trek for about 4-6 hours to reach Shira Camp.

Day 7: Barafu Camp (4,673m/15,331ft) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m/19,341ft) and descent to Mweka Camp (3,100m/10,170ft)

Wake up around midnight for the summit attempt.

Begin the climb to Stella Point and then to Uhuru Peak.

Reach the summit in time for sunrise.

Celebrate your achievement and take photos.

Descend back to Barafu Camp for breakfast and rest.

Continue descending to Mweka Camp.

Total trekking time is approximately 12-16 hours.

Dinner and overnight at Mweka Camp.

Day 8: Mweka Camp (3,100m/10,170ft) to Mweka Gate (1,640m/5,380ft)

Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate.

Sign out with the park authorities.

Receive your summit certificates.

Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.

Celebrate your successful summit!

Rest and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Departure

Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
