1. COZIA MONASTERY
Why you should travel to Romania?
Only if you catch a tour of the Romanian monasteries and you reach the Cozia Monastery will you understand why thousands of tourists are eager to see it.
Guarded for over 600 years, on one side by Olt river, on the other by mount Cozia, the fortified walls of this ancient monastery that have protected us from invaders in the past seem to encircle the Garden of Eden, a place of mystery and mythical beauty.
2. TURNU MONASTERY
In our private day trip, the next location and view will amaze you. Even if you are not an enthusiast of Roman Empire history, it would be a shame to take a trip to Romania and not visit the most beautiful Romanian monasteries. One of them is Turnu Monastery, a true gem hidden in Valcea county.
You should know the name of Turnu Monastery (an important tourist attraction in Romania, erected in the immediate vicinity of Cozia Monastery),comes from the tower on “Teofil’s Peak” built by the Roman legions of Arutela castra during the 2nd century (turn means tower).
3. SIBIU OLD CITY CENTRE
The historical center of Sibiu and the town itself are among the most visited tourist attractions in Romania, because they cater to every taste and provide a wonderful travelling experience for even the pickiest of tourists.
If you love authentic cultural experiences, whether you are more romantic or more adventurous, here you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself, leave the stress of your everyday life behind, and have a fun and memorable trip with your private guide.
The beauty of this old citadel, having received record-breaking recognition, stems from its architecture, the arrangement of the streets, its cultural and artistic heritage, and its beautiful natural scenery, as the town is flanked on two sides by the mountains Fagaras and Lotru.
4. SIBIU EVANGELICAL CATHEDRAL
If you are a thrill seeker with a zest for culture and history, and you want to impress your friends with a photo taken from a 55-m high tower? If so, you should definitely visit the Sibiu Evangelical Cathedral, an important historical monument, as part of the one-day tour of Sibiu, the citadel town.
To reach this point of the tower, which measures 74 meters in total, you have to climb up 192 steps which lead up to the 4 smaller towers. From here, you have a great view of Sibiu and the opportunity for some truly memorable photos.
