Upon arrival an experienced field guide will collect you from the Visitors Centre on a 4X4 open Safari vehicle for your a 6 hour guided game drive in the park. Enjoy this spectacular game reserve, during which your field guide will keep you well informed about the park, the game and their primal habits. The park is home to the Big 5 and other mammals of South Africa. Keep your eyes peeled for lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, among others. Other animals that you may encounter are zebra, giraffe, cheetah, hyena, hippo, crocodile, jackal, wild dogs, antelope as well as some from over the 300 bird species that are found in the park and the list is endless. The view of the park on its own is magnificent. Enjoy the abundance of the African bushveld on this game drive.

During the heat of the day you will stop for an hour where you will enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps in the National Park before departing on an afternoon again open vehicle safari game drive for 2 hours.

Itinerary:

Our guide will collect you from your hotel at 06:00 am then drive for 2.5 hours to Pilanesberg Nature reserve. On arrival you will receive a short briefing about the park and the program of the day.

The tour departs at 9:00 am and is 6 hours in total. You will have time to stop for lunch in the park during the course of the tour. At the end of the Game drive you will be dropped back at the Visitors Centre where you will be picked up by our Guide for a drive back to Johannesburg.
