This eleven days Safari gives you the abundant of Kenya and Tanzania wildlife heritage. The safari begins in Nairobi Kenya and ends in Nairobi. It covers the southern circuit of Kenya as well as Northern circuit of Tanzania mainly covering the Mara – Serengeti Ecosystem. You will stay under canvas and use tour van in Kenya and a 4x4 in Tanzania for your transportation.

Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our tour manager who will welcome you and brief you about your safari. You will then be transferred to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Leave Nairobi after breakfast and drive towards the Great Rift Valley. The scenery comprises of escarpments and fertile cultivated land down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Look for the charming chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You'll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then travel across acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sun sets.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Have an early morning game viewing drive, return to the camp for your breakfast.

The Masai Mara borders the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and is the same eco-system. The landscape is mostly open Savannah grasslands and acacia scrubland. Many times of the year you will see a large number of lion, hippo, crocodile and vultures - all of which prey on the weak and young migrating animals. Other game to be found in the Masai Mara at any time of the year include: elephants, cheetahs, baboons, gazelles, giraffes, jackals, leopards, hyenas, water buffalo, ostriches and a large variety of antelope and bird life.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi - Amboseli Game Reserve

After breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli via Nairobi situated at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Once in the park, proceed on an afternoon game drive enroute to your camp arriving in the early evening. Lunch will be at Nairobi.

Amboseli is a place of stark contrast, the name meaning “salty dust” in Maasai. Amboseli, despite its sometimes dry and dusty appearance, has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snow melt. These underground streams converge into clear fresh water springs in the heart of the park. The powder like dust is volcanic ash, which was thrown from Kilimanjaro millennia ago. The main attraction of Amboseli is its vast herds of elephant within the park. The bull elephants here have some of the largest tusks in Kenya. Early morning and late afternoon photographic opportunities are incredible, with plentiful game and Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world, providing an impressive and majestic backdrop.

Day 5: Amboseli Game Reserve

Up early this morning with the hopes of seeing the magnificent snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, head out on a game drive searching for elephant, cheetah, Cape buffalo and the many other plains game that inhabit this area.

Dinner and Overnight at Porini Camp or similar

Day 6: Amboseli - Arusha

After breakfast, board your vehicles and head to the Tanzania border post. Today’s drive will be rather long but rewarding. Arrive in Arusha in time for lunch. After lunch you may opt to have an afternoon tour at Arusha National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day7: Arusha - Olduvai Gorge – Ngorongoro Conservancy

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro whereby the journey continues northwest across the stunning hilly countryside of Karatu and the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your camp in good time for lunch. After your lunch, travel to Olduvai Gorge, the site of the discovery of one of the oldest known human skulls. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

From here lies the vast plain of the Serengeti, where you’ll hopefully start spotting game well before you enter into the park.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservancy

Today spend the whole day touring this magnificent park. Descend into the crater for game viewing in this magnificent area this tour will be on half day. After game viewing head back up the wall for your lunch on the rim of Ngorongoro. After lunch have another game viewing drive.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest collapsed calderas of the world. It is also a home to herds of elephants, black manned lions, rhino and beautiful pink flamingos.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Conservancy - Serengeti National Park

Have an optional hot air balloon safari, and then return to your camp for breakfast. Depart after your breakfast and drive across the Serengeti plains where you while spend your two days. Arrive in good time for lunch and after lunch have your early morning game viewing drive. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Serengeti National Park

Spend your whole day touring this magnificent park having two game drives in this vast park. Look for the big five. The kopjes of Serengeti, are home t the big cats such as cheetahs, lions and sometimes leopards. The hyenas also take charge and live here.

The world famous Serengeti National Park, the largest in Tanzania, occupies about 14,763 square kilometers. The name Serengeti means endless plains and is derived from the Maasai word 'siringiti'. This is the area of the world-famous migration. However, as in the Mara, the Serengeti has year round resident game. As in all ecosystems, the vegetation and types of animals you find are closely correlated. The principal features of the park are the short and long grass open plains in the southeast, the acacia savannah in the central are, the hilly, more densely wooded central northern section and the extensive woodland and black clay plains, dominated by the central ranges of mountains in the western corridor.

Day 11: Serengeti National Park – Arusha – Nairobi - Mombasa

Depart Serengeti after breakfast and drive back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you continue the journey by road to Nairobi arriving at around 6.00 pm. You may optionally fly back to Nairobi and book a day room to unwind in before your departure to Mombasa. On arrival at Nairobi you will be transferred to carnivore restaurant where you will have dinner for those who are meat lovers is a great feast. Vegetarian cuisine is also served on request. After your dinner, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Mombasa alternatively you will be transferred to the bus station and board your bus to Mombasa. On arrival at Mombasa, you will be met and transferred to your beach resort for your holiday stay at extra cost on your budget.

Full board at your beach resort of your own choice.
