Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or directly from the airport by our friendly Jossec Safaris team. After a quick briefing, settle into our comfortable 4x4 Jeep as we set off on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley. We’ll arrive at the Masai Mara in the late afternoon, where your lodge is waiting. After check-in, unwind and enjoy the atmosphere of the African wilderness.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in a 4x4 Jeep
Get ready for an action-packed day as we head out early in the 4x4 Jeep for a full day of thrilling game drives. The Masai Mara is home to an abundance of wildlife, and with the expertise of our guides, you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five up close. Picture lions stalking prey, elephants roaming the plains, and cheetahs sprinting after gazelles. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the Mara before continuing your safari, ending the day back at the lodge with an unforgettable sunset.
Day 3: Game Drives & Optional Balloon Safari
Today offers another exciting opportunity to explore the Mara! For an added thrill, you can choose the optional sunrise balloon safari ($450) and float peacefully above the Mara, enjoying an incredible bird’s-eye view of the wildlife below. If you prefer, join our morning and afternoon game drives in the 4x4 Jeep, tracking giraffes, hippos, and even elusive leopards. Each moment is a new discovery, and every turn of the road brings another wildlife wonder.
Day 4: Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, take one last look at the beautiful landscapes of the Masai Mara before we begin our journey back to Nairobi. With no game drive scheduled, you’ll have time to reflect on your adventures during the relaxing drive. We’ll drop you off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport, marking the end of an incredible safari organized by Jossec Safaris.
