Saqqara (Step Pyramid Complex)

Travel to Saqqara: A 30-minute drive to Saqqara.

Arrival: Saqqara is home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest known pyramid and an architectural marvel.

Guided Tour: Your guide will walk you through the Step Pyramid and explain its historical significance.

Visit the pyramid, as well as nearby tombs and temples.

You can learn about the evolution of pyramid construction leading up to the Giza Pyramids.

Lunch at a Local Restaurant

Restaurant: Enjoy a delicious, authentic Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant near Saqqara.

Menu: You can expect a traditional Egyptian feast, often including dishes such as:

Koshari (a mix of rice, lentils, pasta, and fried onions).

Shawerma (meat or chicken).

Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Travel to GEM: About a 30-minute drive to the Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Giza Pyramids.

Guided Tour:

Explore the museum's vast collection, including artifacts from the tomb of Tutankhamun, royal mummies, and countless statues.

Your guide will explain the history behind some of the most famous pieces, including the golden death mask of Tutankhamun and other treasures.
