This day trip combines a spectacular hike through a mountain canyon and a visit to the beautiful mountain village of Chulilla which is only 50 mins drive from Valencia.

The circular hike is 16 km (10 miles) and takes 4.5 hrs. Parts of the trail follow an impressive canyon with vertical cliffs created by the river Turia. The route has an inspiring combination of gorges, valleys, vertical cliffs, hanging bridges, forest, green vegetation, a reservoir and the blue lake. It really is a unique route and considered special in the Valencian region.

After the hike you can choose to visit a local restaurant for some typical food. Or have some free time to go up and explore the ruined castle wall or just have a drink in the village square.
